This blends the real cruciform, star-shaped modernist structure with the chaotic, spiraling, incomplete ambition of the biblical/mythical tower.

5.)    The Unfinished Crown of Europe From the Schuman roundabout, the Berlaymont already looms like a concrete cross stretched toward the sky — but now imagine its top transformed. Above the completed ninth floor, where smooth glass panels and steel bracing should close the building, construction simply... stops.
